The UK division of French furniture retailer Roche Bobois has reported strong sales and a return to profit growth.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022, total sales rose 48.9% to £21m from £14.1m in 2021.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.2m, up from £251,000 recorded in the previous year, marking a return to growth following a prior fall from £775,000.

Stated within its report, the company, which trades through eight UK showrooms, said it will continue to develop its network across the country and invest within its showrooms, coupled with a strong marketing strategy at group level.
