Strachan continues to deliver growth

Fitted furniture manufacturer Strachan has reported an increase in both top and bottom lines.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2022, total sales rose 9% to £7.6m from £7m in 2021. Pre-tax profit resulted at £1m, up 13% compared to £850,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its review, the company said that during the year it experienced “healthy demand” for its products from customers “seeking to improve their homes” and delivered an increase in the order book.

“Recent months have seen a number of challenges facing the UK economy. The directors anticipate the level of demand to reduce and rising supply chain costs to reduce profit margins. The London showroom is scheduled to open in 2023 and this will help lead generation and sales.”
