Soft furnishings supplier Riva Home has announced the acquisition of home furnishings business Voyage Maison.

The acquisition will allow Riva Home to expand its UK manufacturing operation with further capabilities Voyage Maison have at its Glasgow-based factory.

Riva Home intends to consolidate some of the existing Glasgow-based fulfilment operation into its newly refurbished 370,000sqft head office and distribution facility in Leeds, boosting lead times as well as improving its supply chain.

Voyage Maison currently operates a trade department selling to both independent and major retailers – alongside an e-commerce site selling direct to the consumer.
