Office furniture firm grows sales to almost £40m

Office furniture manufacturer Gresham Office Furniture has reported sales of almost £40m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 October 2022, total sales rose 28.6% to £37.7m from £29.3m in 2021. Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.6m, slightly down from £2m recorded in the previous year.

UK sales represented the majority of turnover, with revenues up from £29.2m to £37.5m. Exports increased from £93,000 to £223,000.

Stated within its report, the company said it achieved the revenues stated above at a margin of 33.44%, while adding that net current assets remained strong at £14.5m.

“The directors are pleased with the overall results and credit must be given to all employees for their efforts,” Gresham said.
