NBF sponsors The Sleep Charity’s eBook

As part of the National Bed Federation’s (NBF) three-year partnership with The Sleep Charity, its consumer arm Bed Advice UK has sponsored the charity’s new adult sleep eBook to help the nation sleep better.

Released on 10th May and available to download from the Bed Advice UK and The Sleep Charity websites, the eBook ‘Understanding Your Sleep’ equips poor sleepers with practical tools and helpful information on sleeping better. As a long-time corporate supporter of the charity, the NBF’s core messaging remains the same; our bed (mattress and base) and sleep are intrinsically linked, and a comfortable, supportive bed is conducive to a good night’s sleep. As such, the eBook has two crucial sections on mattresses and the bedroom environment.

Said Simon Williams, NBF head of marketing & membership: “A comfortable and supportive bed is the foundation of a good night’s sleep. That is why it made perfect sense our consumer arm Bed Advice UK officially supports The Sleep Charity’s adult sleep eBook. We hope this free resource will equip the nation with practical tools to help them sleep better, benefitting their overall health and wellbeing.”

The Sleep Charity’s deputy CEO and author of the book, Lisa Artis, said: “We are delighted that the NBF and its consumer arm are continuing to support the charity and even more so with this much-needed resource. There is so much misinformation out there and this new eBook is backed by our expert advisory board as well as featuring the PIF tick mark of quality.”

The eBook’s launch also ties in with the NBF’s month-long ‘May Be Time for a New Mattress’ campaign, highlighting why it may be time to swap that old mattress for a new, comfortable, supportive one. A free retailer toolkit, including campaign logos and social media infographics, is available for bed retailers to download via the NBF website.
