appoints Dan Elton in newly created customer role

Online furniture retailer has announced the appointment of Dan Elton as its first chief customer officer.

In a newly created role, Dan is tasked to lead’s marketing, digital and customer experience departments, while also growing the brand in mainland Europe.

Dan moves from Google, where he was senior industry head – fashion and sports. He has also held other senior roles including at Argos, where he was brand and digital marketing director, and Tesco, in the position of customer insight and analytics director.

Commenting on his new role, Dan said he is ‘looking forward to the opportunities ahead’ and to ‘build a leading customer experience’.
