Following the success of their machinery innovations in the component processing fields, serving areas like foam and other materials, automation experts MattressTek are once again exhibiting at Foam Expo North America as AutomateTek, following the installation of a huge new production line in Michigan which came from a lead at last year’s show.

On top of that, they are one of the three finalists in the Machinery Innovation category of the UTECH Awards which will be awarded at the show, co-located in Maastricht with Sleep Expo Europe, and are Export finalists in the Insider Made in the North West Awards (announced in May).

The brand recently won Best Mattress Manufacturing Machinery Company in this year’s SME News Business Elite Awards and Specialist Machinery Manufacturer of the Year in the Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards. They are also shortlisted for a NICHE Business Award.

Technical director, Shaun, said “We are always extremely grateful to the judges of all the awards we have been lucky enough to be a finalist in, and even win, but to be recognised for our international trade in contributing to the North West – somewhere we are proud to be based (more specifically, Lancashire), with the majority of our suppliers here too – is super humbling.”

They were Export finalist in Lancashire’s annual Red Rose Awards and were also in the final for the Insider International Trade Awards.

With the support of the awareness that these awards provide, they hope to continue to help more manufacturers to streamline their production, reduce wastage of time, materials and resources, and make them more efficient through automation like conveyors.
