Land of Beds raises over £4k for Claire House Hospice

Independent beds and mattresses retailer Land of Beds has seen members of its team recently conquer a demanding 15-kilometre Tough Mudder.

Filled with 31 obstacles – and lots of mud, Team Land of Beds raised £4,475 for the Claire House Hospice, an organisation committed to standing with seriously and terminally ill children and their families through every hardship. Claire House provides not only specialised nursing and end-of-life care but also invaluable emotional support during life’s most trying moments.

Commenting on the fundraiser success, CEO Mike Murray expressed pride and gratitude for the team’s achievement, stating: “Our team’s dedication to Tough Mudder and helping a good cause shows their strong teamwork and community spirit. Land of Beds isn’t just about selling beds; we care about our community.

“We do things like give away beds, sponsor events, donate products, volunteer, and raise money for important causes. Our staff getting involved in these activities helps us build a positive work environment and make a difference in our community. It brings our team closer together and makes us proud of what we do. It’s also a win-win situation for the charities we support.

“To all those who donated, cheered them on, or shared their story, your role in this remarkable achievement cannot be overstated. It underscores that, collectively, we possess the power to create a better world, one obstacle at a time.”
