Kitchen furniture maker maintains sales and profit growth

Northern Irish kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture manufacturer Woodland has reported another growth in turnover.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 28 February 2023, total sales rose 6.8% to £22.1m from £20.7m in 2022, further adding to its growth of 58.9% from £13.1m in 2021.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £2.4m, improving from £1.6m the previous year.

Stated within its report, Woodland said that gross profit margin decreased to 20.8% from 22.7%.

The company underwent a restructure with a new holding company being incorporate, with Portna Properties Limited acquiring 70% of the shareholding.
