Kitchen furniture maker grows sales by almost 60%

Kitchen furniture manufacturer Woodland has reported a growth in turnover, with sales surpassing £20m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 28 February 2022, total sales rose 58.9% to £20.7m from £13.1m in 2021.

Gross profit increased from £2.5m to £4.7m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £1.6m, significantly improving from £15,000 the previous year.

Stated within its report, Woodland said that gross profit margin increased to 23% from 19.7%. Looking ahead, the company added that it is continually seeking to expand into new customer markets by ongoing development of products and services.
