Department store retailer John Lewis has issued a product recall on a dining chair over a safety hazard.

The retailer has issued the recall on its own brand cloud velvet dining chairs due to the potential for the chair’s legs to break causing a risk of falls and injury to the user.

John Lewis said: “If you have bought this product: Stop using the product immediately and contact customer services to receive a full refund and arrange collection of the product.

“We’re very sorry that it has been necessary to recall this product and for the inconvenience caused.”
