Independent furniture and beds retailer The Oak Furniture Shop will be celebrating its 10th year in business this month.

Situated on Bailey Street in Oswestry, Shropshire, the business will officially mark the 10-year milestone with a cake and gift giveaway to customers during 16-21 October.

Co-owned by Jane Rees, who founded the store in 2013, she paid tribute to the loyal customers from over the years who have continued to support the business.

“I started the shop in 2013, never expecting we would still be here 10 years later, but we are thanks to the wonderful people of Oswestry,” she said.

The company says the key to its ongoing success has been to keep prices “very competitive” to encourage people to “shop locally”, alongside offering an “exceptional delivery service”.
