Independent furniture business The Clearance Discount Furniture Store has announced plans to open a store in Burnley.

The company has opened on the Prestige Retail Park, taking over a former Bensons for Beds store, marking its first physical location.

The company, which is being run by Jimmy Khan – who has worked in the furnishings industry for over a decade, said it felt a “connection” and wants to “re-build Burnley following the closures of other furniture businesses in the area.

“Our core business values are to provide outstanding customer service, the best prices on the market and also create an amazing shopping experience,” the business added.
