Independent furniture retailer City Furnishers Store has announced it plans to relocate its Plymouth store.

The company currently operates out of its 16,000sqft Plymouth city centre store at the Colin Campbell House site.

However, it has decided to move to a new premises nearby and is holding a £975,000 closing down and moving sale to shift stock ahead of the relocation.

City Furnishers Store, which is owned by Sarah Rosson, said the business has “enjoyed such great support from customers over the years” and will continue to provide “great service once we’ve moved to our new site”.

Details of the new location and moving date are yet to be confirmed with the company recently extending its sale, although the new premises will only be a short distance away from its current location.
