Hunters Derby – Furniture Sales Consultant

We are a family-run furniture retail store established over 95 years ago. We are very proud of our longstanding reputation for quality and service operating from our 27,000 sq ft store based in Derby.

We are on the lookout for a Furniture Sales Consultant to join our team in Derby on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role involves direct discussion with customers to help and inform them to buy the products most suitable for them and to provide the high levels of service that our customers expect.

You will also ensure that stock is ordered, received, stored and displayed in line with company guidelines and process incoming information and enquiries as well as helping to organise customer deliveries and payments. A good telephone manner and keyboard skills are essential.

As we are open 7 days a week, weekend and some Bank Holiday working would be part of the job.

Product training will be provided and we would prefer applicants with experience in selling high end products with personal service.

Salary + commission on delivered sales with no upper limit

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
