Get Laid Beds appoints new Marketing Director

Luxury wooden bed makers, Get Laid Beds have appointed Ajay Solanki as their new Marketing Director.

Ajay has over 15 years’ experience spanning social media and marketing, and growth across various sectors, Solanki moves from his previous role as Digital Marketing & Growth Strategist at Swish Fibre and joins the Leicester-based manufacturing and eCommerce firm.

The new Marketing Director position comes as one of a few strategic top-level appointments the company plans to make over the coming months.

As a recent appointment, Ajay is already making great strides at wooden bed makers, Get Laid Beds head office and manufacturing centre in Leicester.

Solanki’s strong background in Marketing made him an obvious choice for the eCommerce and manufacturing firm.

Ajay Solanki said: “This opportunity feels like a nostalgic for me. Throughout my professional career, I’ve never worked in my hometown, and it’s special that Get Laid Beds was founded and grown right here in Leicester. I’ve even had the privilege of guest lecturing at the Leicester university this year, so this feels like the perfect time to work on expanding a local business.

“Turning to the more serious side of things, my career has been centered around building and scaling marketing contributions to a business’s P&L. What excites me about working with GLB is the immense potential for exponential growth on the horizon.
