Bolton-based independent furniture retailer Global Interiors has confirmed it will close its store at the end of this week.
Global Interiors, which is situated on Blackburn Road in Astley Bridge, has launched a closing down sale to shift stock ahead of its closure on Sunday 16th April.
Owner Donna Burcell confirmed the news as well as stating that its sister company Alexander Ellis, which is based at Tokenspire Business Park on Hull Road in Beverley, will remain open and take any remaining stock.
In a statement, Global Interiors said via social media: “Hello lovely people! Just to let you know our last day will be Sunday the 16th. After that, once we’ve delivered all our sold items, we’ll open for one or two days towards the end of the month to sell what’s left and also any fixtures and fittings we’re not taking over to Alexander Ellis.
“Our sister company Alexander Ellis is stocked to the rafters and is massive! Well worth a ride out. It is still family owned, and if you’ve loved what we’ve done over the last 26 years, you’ll adore this store. If you remember us from our Dunscar days, this is even better. If you get over before we do, tell them Global sent you and to get the kettle on.”
