Furniture Industry APPG chair to speak at charity’s Yorkshire Curry Night

Mark Eastwood, MP of Dewsbury and chair of the All Party Parliamentary Furniture Industry Group, is to be the special guest speaker at the seventh annual Yorkshire Curry Night, organised by the Yorkshire Region of The Furniture Makers’ Company.

The popular event, held at the award-winning Aagrah Midpoint restaurant in Bradford, is taking place on Thursday 2 March 2023. The evening, now a fixture in the charity’s calendar of regional activity, offers furnishing industry colleagues in the north of England a fantastic opportunity to network and socialise with each other while enjoying a delicious three-course meal. The event will also include a short speech from Mark Eastwood MP and a raffle in aid of the charity.

The funds raised at the Yorkshire Curry Night will support the charity’s education programme and go towards helping people from the industry who have fallen on hard times. Fara Butt, Yorkshire regional chairman, said: “On behalf of The Furniture Makers’
