Furniture and interiors business Fab has announced the closure of its store in Garstang as well as confirming plans to close its location in Poulton.

Fab Home Interiors, the retail arm of SHH Interiors, confirmed the closure of its store at Regency Garage on Garstang Road after launching a closing down sale.

The closure does not impact its other stores, which includes locations in Blackpool, Bowness, Kendal, Lytham and Preston.

In a statement, the company said: “We have made the decision to close Fab Home Interiors in Garstang due to the proximity of our flagship store, Fab Home Interiors in Preston (the former Harley Davidson garage on Strand Road). The smaller store in Garstang has performed well since opening in 2019, however we are focusing our efforts on our larger sites where our full collections can be displayed in a much more desirable setting.

“We are looking to expand the larger scale Fab Home Interiors stores and currently viewing sites across the North West for suitability. Our plan is to also close Fab Home Interiors in Poulton before the end of the year, due to it’s proximity to our larger store in Blackpool.”
