Fitted furniture manufacturer ECF has reported positive growth as profit trebles.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 33% to £21m from £15.7m in 2020.

Gross profit jumped from £3.1m to £5.1m, while pre-tax profit surged from £312,000 to £945,000 year-on-year.

Stated within its report, the company said that its clients in the construction and developer sectors remained buoyant despite earlier lockdowns impacting trading.

“This has resulted in turnover rebounding strongly for the year”, the company added.
