FF&E specialist expands into Wales

Established FF&E consultants Morleys are expanding their design consultancy and furniture supply to schools into the Welsh education market.

Launching their brand Morleys of Wales, they have opened an office in the heart of Swansea and launched a new design website.

Morleys remain a family-owned business and have a 90-year trading history under their belt. Having built a reputation as market leaders for the supply of quality furniture and spatial design services to the education sector they have advanced their FF&E proposition, expanding into public sector and workspace markets, and now into new territories. This growth has enabled the company to open their first office based in Wales.

Commenting on the expansion, Sales and Marketing Director Adam Smith said: “this is a really exciting year for Morleys as we grow our FF&E proposition nationally. We have had a presence in Wales for a number of years, having successfully secured a place on the NPS Wales framework, and due to continued success and increased opportunity in the area, we have now set up a base in Swansea so we can better support our Welsh clients and demonstrate our investment into the Welsh economy. Partnering with local supply chains we are focussing on long-term sustainability by promoting circular economy, helping our clients achieve value and reduce their impact on the environment.”

Morleys of Wales will provide a complete end-to-end FF&E solution encompassing design, supply and installation for clients working on full scale new build and refurbishment projects.

Commenting on the opening of the Swansea based office, Senior Furniture Consultant Sian Langton said: “the new office is situated in my hometown so provides an ideal base for me to hold client meetings. I have worked in the education sector for over 24 years, working on large scale projects with schools, contractors, councils, and architects. My proudest achievement to date has been delivering the FF&E for Fitzalan High School, a £64m new build in Cardiff constructed by Kier, and the largest project to date delivered through the 21st Century Schools programme and funded by Cardiff Council and the Welsh Government.”

Sian adds: “The launch of Morleys of Wales is a key milestone for the business and demonstrates our commitment to working in partnership with our clients, helping them to maximise their return on investment and add value throughout the FF&E project lifecycle. There is so much investment in the area, so I am excited for the opportunities going forward.”

Morleys of Wales see their investment in Wales as a key opportunity to establish themselves as a trusted partner in the FF&E space and an opportunity to grow their network in the community.
