Family run furniture store T&K Furniture is celebrating its 50th anniversary milestone as well as almost 30 years being based in Leighton Buzzard.

The retailer officially started trading back in 1972 and was founded by Tom and Kathy Shattock, with their son Sam now running the business.

The company, based on Hockliffe Street, previously traded in St Albans, Dunstable, Luton, Bushey, and Bedford throughout the years, with its current location their only store to date.

T&K Furniture has recently invested in a new website, while their store mainly features products manufactured in the UK.

Commenting, the company said: “The newest addition to the business is our website, which we still view as an advert for the shop, because many of our customers prefer to come in. We keep everything as simple and smooth as possible. And our products are mainly manufactured in the UK.”
