Family run independent furniture and flooring retailer Martins has confirmed plans to expand with a new store in Watford.

Martins Furniture & Flooring, which also trades from its St Albans Road store in the town, will open a new shop on Queens Road, taking over the former Chamber Hut unit.

The new store adds to its other shops, with two being located in Letchworth and one in Hereford and another in Stevenage.

Signage is now being displayed in the windows of the new Watford location, and plans to open on 4 November 2023.

The new store will bring Martins Furniture & Flooring portfolio to six shops and will include beds, sofas, wardrobes and carpets, as well as pillows, cushions, lamps, mirrors, tables and chairs.
