Family run furniture retailer Donaldsons Furnishings has been the victim of vandalism at its store in Carlisle.

The incident took place on 18 November 2023 at around 1:30am when a man was caught by CCTV deliberately smashing in one of the store windows.

Cumbria Police are investigating the vandalism and released a statement calling for help identifying the man.

“We are looking to speak to the man in this video in relation to substantial criminal damage that was caused to Donaldsons Furnishings in Lonsdale Street in Carlisle on the morning of the 18th November 2023 at 1.31am.

“The man was in company with three other men.
