Discount retailer Home Bargains has announced the opening of its new store in Childwall.
The new 24,000sqft store is situated on Childwall Valley Road and has created 51 jobs.
The store development represents an investment of around £5m after refurbishing the property that used to house The Bridge Inn.
Supplying a variety of products, including a homewares department, the new store adds to Home Bargains’ other locations around the UK, which is more than 575 outlets.
Stephanie Oflaherty, store manager, said that the Childwall site will be a “great location” for the business.
