Upholstery manufacturer The Encore Sofa Company Ltd will unveil five debut collections at the upcoming INDX Show.

Janus Cooper, Nick Murphy and Annabel Simmons teamed up together last Autumn to launch their new business, The Encore Sofa Company, after their departure from Tetrad.

Commenting on the launch, Janus said: “Encore Sofas will be launching five new ‘very creative’ collections for the INDX show that starts next week. We have spent the last few months working with our supply chain that have helped us develop the new products that we hope the industry will be excited about.

“Two collections are in new Harris Tweeds with attention to detail on the leather piping, individual hand studding and accessory scatter cushions. There’s also a leather and fabric deep buttoned chesterfield with handwoven woollen fabrics. A fluted back fixed seat kidney shaped group in an off while chenille and one more that will be finished this week.

“We have invested a lot of time on the product development which included visiting overseas suppliers in Turkey, USA and Italy. Each product is unique but we also believe is commercial for the premium UK marketplace.

“Our goal is to supply the key UK retailers with reliable lead times, good value products and for them to achieve improved margins on our items. We will be showing at Long Point in May and September plus investing in a show van. All goods after the INDX Show will be photographed and taken back to our showroom in Braunston.”
