Danish furniture and homewares retailer Søstrene Grene has announced the opening of its new store in Derby, becoming the brands fifth location in the UK.

The new store has opened in the Derbion shopping centre and covers a space of 4,000sqft. It features furniture and home accessories including candles, stationery and gift bags.

Officially launching on 4 November, the new store adds to its four other existing stores in the UK, with its first opening in Nottingham back in 2016.

Commenting on the launch, Søstrene Grene, said that the Derby store will be the first in the UK to model its new store concept called ‘retail for the senses’, which looks to create a ‘hygge’ environment for customers.
