Independent furniture and homewares retailer Finewood Studios has now closed.

The retailer, situated on Station Road in Mickleover, Derby, closed for the final time on 18 March 2023 following a closing down sale.

The business, which had been established since 1976 and owned by Rebecca McDonnell, said that it was time to close due to declining trade since the Covid pandemic.

Upon closing for the final time, Rebecca said: “It’s sad, especially when people keep telling us how much they’ll miss the place and because we’ve been here so long.”
