Contract furniture manufacturer Knightsbridge Furniture has revealed a six-figure investment in a new L-Series Pathfinder fabric cutting machine.
The business acquired the machinery through UK agent AE Sewing Machines, which represents Australian-based manufacturer Pathfinder.
The investment follows a recent fourth CNC Router acquisition, which is to help meet increased demand, improve productivity and energy usage.
The new Pathfinder fabric machine has replaced an older cutting system and will significantly reduce maintenance as well as providing greater cutting accuracy.
Commenting on the investment, the business said the machine will “allow us to cut additional shapes and sizes and greatly increase our production speed”.
