Bensons drafts in eve mattresses across its UK store network

Beds and mattress retailer Bensons for Beds has announced it has start selling eveSleep mattresses in its 160-plus stores across the UK, taking the brand into physical stores for the first time.

Supported by its investor Alteri, Bensons acquired the eveSleep brand at the end of 2022 and re-opened the eveSleep website.

Now, from 30 March 2023 and for the first time, exclusive eveSleep mattresses have been specially designed for Bensons and will be available in its stores across the UK. The move to bring the eveSleep brand to its stores is part of Bensons’ plan to build a sustainable future for the brand.

In addition to the key mattresses offered at eveSleep online– the original and the lighter available as hybrid or full foam sleep solutions – there is now an exclusive and additional range that has been manufactured at Bensons’ own Cambridgeshire-based manufacturing facility in Huntingdon.

The new eve ranges include the eve hybrid uno, duo and duo plus mattresses and eve pure memory and pure memory luxe mattresses.

“In eveSleep, we now own a brand that we know resonates strongly with younger customers and we’re looking forward to unlocking its full potential as we extend its reach into physical stores.” said Bensons for Beds chief executive officer Nick Collard.

Bensons is investing significantly to build a portfolio of brands in addition to eveSleep – the majority produced in-house at its manufacturing base in Huntingdon. That portfolio includes Slumberland, Simply by Bensons range and its heritage Staples & Co brand.
