Bed manufacturer Dura Beds has reported a growth in sales although saw profits decline.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 November 2022, total sales rose 2.4% to £12.8m from £12.5m in 2021, adding to its growth of 8.6% from £11.5m in 2020.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £121,000, down from £301,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said that staff costs to sales ratio stood at 20.52%, decreasing from 28.16% last year, while gross profit margin increased at 36.77% from 32.73%.
“In order to remain competitive, profits will be invested into staff to ensure that they are able to respond to advances in the market and customer demand,” the business added.
