Bed manufacturer Dura Beds has reported a growth in sales although saw profits dip slightly.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 November 2021, total sales rose 8.6% to £12.5m from £11.5m in 2020.
Gross profit increased from £3.7m to £4.1m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £301,000, slightly down from £389,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said that staff costs to sales ratio stood at 28.16%, increasing from 20.54% last year, while gross profit margin remained consistent at 32%.
“In order to remain competitive, profits will be invested into staff to ensure that they are able to respond to advances in the market and customer demand,” the business added.
