Department store retailer John Lewis Partnership has put up its former York store for sale.
John Lewis, which closed the York site – situated at Vangarde Shopping Park – back in 2021, has appointed Savills to market the property.
At the time of its closure, the local public tried to save the 128,000sq ft store by launching a petition, which was unsuccessful.
The news follows another former John Lewis store in Sheffield city centre that has been placed on the market, which is being managed by CBRE’s UK Development Advisory team.
