Wayfair grows UK sales close to £60m

The UK division of online furniture retailer Wayfair has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 14% to £56.5m from £49.7m in 2020.

Operating profit increased from £1m to £1.1m while pre-tax profit resulted at £1.4m, up 45% from £968,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, Wayfair said performance was ‘stable’ and returned a 2% operating margin. During the year it continued to grow its warehouse and fulfilment services in the UK to maximise European growth.
