Mattress brand eveSleep has announced the launch of its relaxation and sleep video to help reduce stress and insomnia.

The ‘Be More Sloth’ video, which lasts 20 hours, shows footage of a sloth as it peacefully slumbers throughout the day whilst nestled in the leafy canopy of the Costa Rican rain forest.

The launch follows its own research where the brand, who surveyed 2,000 Brits, discovered that 45% found 2023 more stressful than last year, with 67% blaming the cost of living crisis and almost half (48%) worrying about rising energy bills.

We wanted to provide something real and tangible for consumers to help them reduce their anxiety and what better role model to take relaxation tips from than the humble sloth. We hope people find the video useful. 

“After all, it’s 20 hours of mindless, but cute, slothness, accompanied by the natural sounds of the rainforest. All you need to do is simply lie down, relax and watch.  It should send people off to sleep pretty quickly!”

To celebrate the launch of the video and its end of year sale, eveSleep is offering shoppers the chance to adopt a sloth from Druisillas Park when they purchase any eve product before 9 January 2024.

Proceeds from the sloth adoptions will go towards funding The Sloth Conservation Foundation, which helps to develop long-term conservation solutions to help protect the future of sloths.
