Soft furnishings supplier grows sales; invests in new HQ

Soft furnishings supplier Riva Home has reported a growth in sales as turnover surpassed £20m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 January 2022, total sales rose 60.1% to £22.1m from £13.8m in 2021.

Gross profit increased from £9.8m to £15.8m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £2.2m, consistent with that of £2.2m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said that during the year it continued to invest with the development of a new 375,000sqft head office and distribution centre.

“The facility comprises 70,000sqft space for Riva Home’s head office and more than 300,000sqft of warehousing. This new facility can store more than 20,000 pallets and dispatch in excess of 80,000 orders per day,” the business said.
