Sofa retailer opens new store in Inverness

Upholstery retailer Sofology has opened its first Highland store in Inverness.

The new store is situated at Inverness Retail and Business Park, taking the vacant unit left by clothing company Outfit.

The store officially opened on 17 December, a week later than originally planned, and features 72 room layouts spread out over two floors.

The Inverness store, which was opened by local councillor Ian Brown, has created around 12 new jobs for the area and features ā€˜similar look and feelā€™ to its newest concept store in Hedge End.

Sofology said that for every purchase made, a tree will be planted in partnership with the Woodland Trust, while it has also started working with disadvantaged childrenā€™s charity Home Start in raising awareness and encouraging customer donations.
