Sleep smart brand Sleep.8 has announced the appointment of their new Vice President of Retail, Musi Chayla, who will drive the business’ global expansion.
Previously CEO of Sleep.8 UK, Chayla has worked his entire career in retail and is passionate about revitalising the high street post-Covid. He launched his first shop in Romford in 2020 with the goal of creating a conversation around the importance of prioritising and taking ownership of our sleep.
After two years of rapid expansion within the UK and overseas in Portugal and Spain, Chayla now has an eye on the rest of the world.
With its production based in Portugal, Sleep.8 plans to roll out its vertically integrated retail model throughout 2023. West Africa and the Middle East are amongst the target markets where Chayla is keen to expand next.
In addition to Musi Chayla’s promotion, Dana Mantripp, previously Senior Commercial Manager at Sleep.8 UK, has been promoted to Commercial Brand Director at Sleep.8 Global.
