Upholstered furniture and floorings retailer ScS has announced that Chris Muir has notified the Board of his intention to step down as Chief Financial Officer.
ScS said that Chris has a 12 month notice period and will remain with the business while a successor is identified and to facilitate a smooth handover.
“The process to identify a successor will commence immediately,” the retailer added.
ScS recently reported ‘resilient’ trading in challenging conditions with recent order intake showing an improvement.
In its latest trading update at its AGM, ScS said like-for-like order intake has seen an improvement in recent weeks, with trading ahead of the prior year by 1.3% from 7 October to 19 November 2022.
