Bedding specialist to the hospitality industry, Richard Haworth, has reported another growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2023, total sales rose 18.9% to £43.9m from £36.9m in 2022, further adding to its growth of 97.3% from £18.7m in 2021.

UK sales jumped 19.8% to £42.8m from £35.7m, while EU sales were flat at £1m. Outside the EU, sales stood at £162,000, down from £190,000.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £7.1m, up from £6.7m recorded in the previous year, marking a second straight year of bottom-line growth.

Stated within its report, the company said it has implemented a strategy that will “continue to focus on beneficial trading activities core to the business with results targeted to be realised in 2023/24”.
