Fitted kitchen and fitted bedroom furniture business Starplan has reported a slight decline in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2023, total sales fell 2.7% to £17.6m from £18.1m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £0.3m, down from £1.6m recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, Starplan said: “The company directors are satisfied with the results for the year and the financial position at the year end.

“The directors are committed to long term creation of shareholder value by increasing market share through organic growth, including new branch openings, and will continue to invest in people, products and facilities in order to support this development.”
