Stated within its report, Ekornes said the first quarter started ‘very strong’ however inflation and the war in Ukraine slowed orderflow back to pre-pandemic levels for the remainder of the year.

“Due to the record order book at the end of 2021, along with the nature of our business being made to order, meant that the slower market conditions did not really impact on our revenue in 2022, resulting in the business delivering record levels of revenue.”
