Fit-out contractor Thomas Johnstone, which also specialises in bespoke furniture manufacture, has reported a surge in sales.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 76.1% to Ā£67.8m from Ā£38.5m in 2020.
Gross profit increased from Ā£6.5m to Ā£9.8m, while pre-tax profit jumped 163% to Ā£2.2m compared to Ā£834,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said that it started the year with a strong order book despite Covid restrictions, adding that its continuing focus on customer service and satisfaction was a large reason it was able to maximise on sales opportunities that became available.
