Police raid furniture store and find drug farm

Three people have been arrested in connection to a massive cannabis farm that was located in a Bolton furniture store.

Police from the Great Lever Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted a raid at CB Furniture, off Shaw Street, and found over 1,000 plants and ‘ready to go’ cannabis bags.

The force said it was acting on intelligence gathered from the community. The raid took place on 1 June.

“The warrant was as a result of excellent intelligence gathered by the team’s PCSOs. Over 1,000 plants at various stages of cultivation and a large quantity of “ready to go” cannabis have been seized along with a van also used by the offenders.

“Our teams often rely on intelligence provided by the public to help us identify similar activity in our communities. If you have any information or suspect suspicious behaviour please get in touch.”
