Panaz supports the future of design with new appointment

Contract fabric manufacturer Panaz has bolstered its in-house design expertise with the appointment of a new Graduate Designer as part of its continued commitment to supporting the industry’s next generation of textile designers.

After a summer placement with Panaz in 2022, Kayleigh Bradburn has joined Panaz as a full-time member of Panaz’s design department following the completion of her Textile Design Degree at the University of Central Lancashire, where she specialised in surface pattern for interiors.

Working in partnership with Panaz’s experienced team of designers, Kayleigh is supporting the creation of beautiful new designs for Panaz’s high-performance fabrics for the hospitality, healthcare, workspace, and cruise sectors.

Specialising in colourations for new collections, whilst conducting research into latest colours and trends, Kayleigh also forms an essential part of Panaz’s in-house bespoke design team serving the American market.

Kayleigh said: “The design department here at Panaz is a really fast-paced environment. This has enabled me to think strategically about the role of design within commercial settings to ensure every fabric we produce not only reflects the latest design trends but sets the standard for quality and functionality.”

Kayleigh and the rest of the design team are committed to continuously meeting the specific design and performance requirements of Panaz’s extensive network of clients across the globe for both standard and bespoke contract fabric offerings.

Sarah Lloyd, Head of Design at Panaz, said: “We are so pleased that Kayleigh has joined the team. The move to appoint a graduate designer emphasises our long-term commitment to investing in the future of both the business and the wider design industry. Working with the next generation of talent is vital to ensuring we achieve sustained growth and Kayleigh has already become an integral member of the team. ”
