Outdoor furniture manufacturer maintains strong growth

Designer and manufacturer of outdoor furniture, Akula Living, has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2023, total sales rose 39.7% to £21.1m from £15.1m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £6m, up 160% from £2.3m recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said it continued to build on its growth story with further expansion into the cruise sector, while growth across its blue-chip customer base in all its key markets across the globe continued.

This success was further recognised in the year, with Akula being the recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade in 2023.

Looking ahead, the company will expand its head office in the UK, while also setting up new sales offices in Hong Kong and Dubai to further increase its ability to service customers.
