Motion furniture supplier delivers top and bottom line growth

The group behind adjustable beds and recliner chairs manufacturer Adjustamatic has reported a growth in turnover and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 32% to £13.3m from £10m in 2020.

UK sales rose 32% to £12.9m from £9.7m, while EU revenues grew 22% to £281,000 from £229,000. Sales in the US were up 39% to £39,000 from £28,000, while sales in Africa stood at £24,000 up from £8,000.

Gross profit increased from £2.7m to £3.6m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £412,000, up from £345,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said that its focus on the path of recovery following the impacts of Covid-19 and supply chain issues had delivered growth as demand in ‘our market was positive resulting in a profitable year’.
