MOOT Group boosts digital marketing with new acquisition

The MOOT Group, owners of furniture and interiors brands Houseology and Olivia’s, has announced the acquisition of digital marketing agency Unknown Marketing.

The acquisition will unite two Staffordshire-based firms and take the projected turnover of the group to around £50m in 2022.

Unknown has relocated its 22 staff to new offices within MOOT’s HQ at Tollgate Industrial Estate in Stafford, with the business experiencing rapid growth over the past 18 months and has recently been shortlisted by the National Startup Awards.

Commenting on the acquisition, Joe Yates, founder of Unknown, said: “It’s brilliant to confirm our merger with MOOT which not only confirms our commitment to Stafford but opens the next chapter in our story in partnership with MOOT”
