MADE opens first store since Next acquisition

Furniture brand MADE has announced the launch of its first store, as it makes a return to the High Street.

The new store has opened at Vulcan Road, Sheffield, and covers 4,000sqft, showcasing a range of design-led furniture and lighting, with a distinctively MADE look and feel.

“Customers can expect plenty of colour in rich velvets, as well as a variance of wood finishes including oak, mango wood and walnut,” said MADE, which is owned by fashion retailer Next.

Store Manager, Lisa Frackleton-Grant, added: “We are really excited to launch the first MADE store! The products are stunning, and we can’t wait for all of our customers to browse the collections.”

Hollie Parkinson, Head of Brand – MADE, commented: “At MADE, we believe in great design being accessible to all, and we want to inspire customers to make braver home choices. We are thrilled to be launching the store in Sheffield, as it’s a very exciting opportunity to broaden our appeal beyond a traditionally London-centric customer base, which also remains important to us.”

As well as being able to place orders in store, customers can benefit from next-day delivery and click & collect options, via made.com.

Since launching with NEXT, availability of MADE products have improved and sourcing routes have become more sustainable and ethically compliant, meaning customers can expect efficient delivery.
