Independent furniture retailer Birks of Fareham has announced its closure after more than 100 years in business.

Situated on West Street in Fareham, the retailer first opened its doors back in 1912 but has now called time after running a closing down sale.

Birks of Fareham closed for the final time on 1 February 2024 and posted a short statement confirming the news.

“The oldest business in Fareham is sadly CLOSING DOWN. 1912 – 2024.”
